Wow! This book sounds really great!

People used to laugh at me because I can talk to my dogs and understand them. I can tell when they are bored, need water, different from wanting food etc. Or telling me to come here, there is something they want to show me.

It reminds me also of the time when some one stole my basset hound.

I was so freaked out. She communicated with me enough to say, "please, don't stop looking for me!" But that's all I could hear.

I hired a pet detective, which, for several hundred dollars, told us to offer a large reward.

We posted over 3000 posters with in a 5 mile radius of the house. This was because a medicine man we met and sought out, told us she was that close.

He had the ability to see through her eyes and describe what she was seeing as she looked out the window. I will say, when we found her, she was EXACTLY where he described. He also said that the people to the North of us took her.

I filed a police report, and as it turned out, she had swallowed a small part of the kids toy a few days before she was taken. So, her vet bill at the emergency room was $700. That made it a felony to the people that took her.

Three weeks later, after not sleeping, constant searching day and all night, in a bad area of Phoenix, newspaper ads and radio interviews later...

From the North side of our house, was a stable, where horses were boarded for people. One of the customers, that we had spoken to on many occasions, drove into our
drive way and said, I think I know where your dog is.

I wouldn't let her out of my sight. I got into her car and Gene followed me to the place, less than 5 miles away, and exactly as the medicine man said.

We were so excited to get her back, that we forgot to call the police to meet us there. That's ok, all we wanted was our dog.

I could write a book on those three weeks. I later heard that the only person that believed that I would see my dog again was my mother.

So, to animal lovers out there, I say, NEVER GIVE UP!

I think you hit on a great book.. can I borrow it? Ha!
