Reiki and Haunted Houses?

 

I was recently asked if Reiki could be used on haunted houses to “clear out the negative energies of the persons and the house and restore protective boundaries. This is a larger context than I’ve heard before for Reiki practice.”

Reiki

Reiki, in my interpretation, is an energy healing modality used to clear energy paths, re-balance and calm. It’s:

- Clearing
- Transmuting
- Re-balancing
- Calming

The premise is that once a Reiki session is done, things are given a chance to move back into harmony (in accordance with the client’s soul contract and their free will). This may allow the body a greater chance of healing itself. Reiki is used as complementary to/with your physician’s treatment.

Reiki is energy manipulation; transforming/transmuting or removing energetic imbalances and restoring energy flow. 

(As a side note: my Shielding Technique* is another avenue to accomplishing this…same principle.)

By helping clear the detritus, I feel the body can spend more time healing itself and less energy on fighting with or through the garbage.

Other Ways Reiki Can Be Used

Again, my belief. I am of the adage, “If you can think it, you can Reiki it.”

Here are some other ways I’ve utilized Reiki:

- my house (to remove stagnant or unwanted energies and to keep the energy healthy and balancing)
- my vehicle (ditto)
- my land/property
- the water coming to the house
- the electricity coming to the house
- wild animals who seek aid (I never physically interact with them)
- situations that left me feeling off-kilt
- my past (that I needed healing energy to aid clearing it up within me)
- Service dogs in public (when the dog requested it)
- my food, especially if it was microwaved
- offered Reiki to the world for those who wish to partake of it
- set up Reiki “IV bags”; these are perpetual, self-filling Reiki contained energetic “IV bags” that I’ve attached to animals and humans for long term access for the client – normally used for chronic pain.

So yes, I do believe Reiki can be used to clear a haunted house and to aid in setting up boundaries. Now, to me, there’s no one technique that does everything – though Reiki is pretty darned close – so I have other techniques to use in conjunction with Reiki if needed.

I am not a Reiki Master purist, meaning I don’t use just Reiki. I use whatever tools/abilities in my energetic toolbox that may benefit/assist the client.

Reiki is versatile; it’s all about working to regain balance, harmony and flow.

 The following is taken from my Straight Talk 1 video on YT and slightly modified it for those who prefer to read instead.

Straight Talk 1

Today I'd like to do straight talk. By this, I mean, I am not going to ginger foot around. I'm going to spell it out loudly and clearly. I did a video where I briefly touched on about using discernment when using AI, or when you use or follow or listen to one of the multitudes of energy readers and channelers that are popping out of the woodwork. These are my interpretations, understandings and views as of now. Take what fits you throw the rest.

There's some crap going on. It's not intentional on behalf of the humans, but there's some crap going on.

A Bit of Background

First, a little background. I was born this way. I was born with multiple abilities in place, including mediumship and channeling. I didn't know growing up that's what it was, but it wasn't until I was an adult that I learned that there were labels to what I could do. There has been a process throughout my life of how I was trained and what I was trained in, and it was not by humans; though I kept hoping as I was going to find somebody. So it wasn't until my 30s, 40s that I started meeting people with abilities and found that there were labels; there were words for all of this. That was way back when the boom of the new age really started happening.

Warnings About Some of Today’s Newest Energy Readers

When today's mediums or channelers put their video up, there are some warning signs to watch for. This is not all encompassing.

I'm pretty sure that there are some readers or interpreters out there that are spot on and doing it correctly. By correctly, I mean pulling information from Source and not from whatever responds to the queries. Unfortunately, there's a ton that when I look at the energy of what message they're giving, and how they're giving it, alarms go off.

Manipulation…that's a number one red flag. “Stop scrolling! If this came across your feed, this is for you! It has found you!”  No, that’s manipulation. Another red flag is stroking people's egos. “You are so strong. It threatened them, and they tried to destroy you.”  Nope, not cool. I don't think this is intentional on the humans’ part. They really think that they are connecting to someone or something positive that is providing these messages.

The same red flags go for AI: manipulation & ego stroking.

When I was younger I would watch fortune tellers and psychics give readings. I noticed that they were only accessing the client's energy field that was closest to the physical body. This field is a person's hopes, dreams, fears; that's it. There's no spiritual information – it’s very 3D.  That's when I first started seeing fakes. Again, doesn't mean that they thought they were fake, they thought they were doing right.

What Type of Mediums Are There?

 

 

  A medium, to me, is a go-between, meaning that the medium utilizes senses beyond the physical senses to communicate with, and relay information from spirits or earthbounds (ghosts).

It’s the job of the medium to take the received information – which comes in what I call light packets (kind of light envelopes) – open the light packet, translate it into words and share it orally or in written form.

I believe, however, that a medium, if so inclined, is also able to assist earthbounds or ghosts in crossing over (removing them from the Earth energy, also known as “crossing over” or “going into the light”).

There’s also the aspect, again if the medium is so inclined, called Deathwalker, Psychopomp or a Spiritual or Energetic Death Doula. These are the mediums who aid those who are nearing end-of-life by sharing what they’ve learned (from being a medium) about what happens after the physical body ceases functioning (death). For this part, you can get a glimpse of this in the article, “We Do Not Cease to Exist”.

Types of Mediums

A medium can be clairaudient (clear hearing), clairsentient (clear sensing or feeling), claircognizant (clear knowing), and/or clairvoyant (clear seeing). There’s also clairgustance (clear tasting) and clairalience (clear smelling).

Most mediums use one or two “clairs” – I use all of them, though clairalience and clairgustance aren’t used as much for me.

There is also trance or physical mediumship channeling. This is when a spirit or being uses the human medium’s voice, eyes, and/or hands (automatic writing) to communicate directly to the client. For me personally, I am not a fan of sharing my physical body in that manner; I want all aspects of my body to be occupied by me alone.

Some define physical mediumship as one who works with the spirit realms to allow the spirits to physically interact with our realm, such as the spirit making knocking noises or moving or levitating items.

Others yet define physical mediumship as one who is able to physically feel the deceased or being’s pre-death injury, illness, or their death in the medium’s own body, such as with (an extreme) clairsentience.

What Would A Session Look Like?

I can speak for myself only; each person is unique and works their way. Also, each session can be completely different from the last.

When someone comes to me for a consultation, I prefer not knowing any details before their arrival; having said that, most clients, once sitting in front of me (Zoom or phone) will immediately begin sharing why they reached out to me. Their Team (of guides) will direct the session as needed for the client.

An Example

One man came to see me because he felt he was stuck; that life was holding him back. His Team assured me that the client was holding himself back. When I told him this, my words were met with denial. I asked his Team for something that I could say to him to help open him up so we could continue.

I instantly saw, in my mind’s eye (clairvoyance), an elderly woman dressed in a blue 1950’s dress with a matching jacket, matching pill box hat, and matching purse. She stood next to my client, grabbed her purse, swung it and smacked him with it (he didn’t feel it), and said, “Tell my grandson to get his head out of where the sun don’t shine!”

Experiences Between Earth’s Dimensions and Other Dimensions

 

 

 For those who know me, you know I’m not a fan of labels / terms or hierarchies. I may use them grudgingly so those I’m speaking (or writing) to have something familiar – a familiar context – to aid in following the concept of which I’m writing/speaking.

One of those labels is “ascending”. I don’t know about you, but for me, that term comes with an air of snobbery or “I’m better than you”. I like using the “raising frequency”, which we each do in our own time as per our soul plan (goals our soul wishes to accomplish during this current lifetime) and daily choices.

Okay, having put that all out there, let’s get to the meat of this article.

A lot more people are Sensing, Seeing, Feeling, Hearing and/or Knowing the presence of Others – those not in a physical form on Earth; usually meaning ghosts (Earthbounds), spirits (those no longer tied to Earth energy, but may visit loved ones who are still in physical form), and for those who believe in: Ascended Masters (Master Ascenders), gods or goddesses, Other place beings (aka “aliens”).
