 Lightworkers and Anger and Spirituality

Yep, we’re going there. And we’re going to also take a look at being spiritual.

Lightworkers, energy workers, energy healers, Starseeds, or whatever label you resonate with, has emotions too. And if you read my last article, you have an idea about how I get when I’m annoyed. But I digress.

I’m going to use “Lightworkers” in this article as a catchall for all the above mentioned labels.

If you think Lightworkers don’t get annoyed, angry, feel down, etc. you are sadly mistaken.

Remember we have talked many times over the years about how we already know perfection from our time outside of the physical realm; and how we became physical, not to be perfect, but to be messy. Hm.

Lightworkers know pain and/or suffering from one or more experiences in their life; and, it is not a contest as to whose experiences are more or bigger.

Lightworkers are working on the layers within themselves while helping others with their layers.

But when Lightworkers don’t set boundaries for their own self-care, they can overtax themselves. Not having and maintaining boundaries can lead to exhaustion, anger and resentment.

So here are some secrets (not really secrets) about Lightworkers. These are not excuses; rather, it’s a sharing of what perhaps others don’t see. This doesn’t mean it applies to every single being, mind you. We are unique in our experiences.

- Lightworkers, whether they share or not, have dealt with some heavy personal stuff in their lives and had/have to work on healing and releasing their own stuff.

- Lightworkers deserve compensation (equal exchange) for their skill set just like anyone else.

Most people don’t get cranky about compensating someone else for their skill set, so why should Lightworkers be viewed differently? Lightworkers may have been born with (or whenever they came into) their abilities, but they also have/had to learn how to work with them and/or refine them.

You don’t begrudge paying someone else for a skill you don’t have but need; same thing.

- Lightworkers, especially if they’ve no boundaries, can get angry and resentful.

I’m not talking about how I was – with attitude – annoyed with the new Teams (see article here). I’m taking about being wiped-out because a Lightworker without boundaries can get exhausted; drained by giving and giving and not allowing time to rejuvenate. This can ultimately lead to anger, resentment and burn out.

- Lightworkers have emotions and moods like everyone else. Lightworkers are experiencing life just like everyone else.

- Despite what many may think, Lightworker’s lives aren’t all rainbows and unicorns. Remember, they are here to experience as well. And, as they learn they often share or incorporate their experience into their practice.

- Just because someone has accepted the Lightworker label and are having a human experience doesn’t mean that they are more than or less than anyone else.

- Oftentimes Lightworkers really do understand your pain. They feel yours (empathy) and/or have experienced something similar themselves.

- I do pay attention. These two topics were searched for...Read More
